Evidence That Exteriors Are More Critical Than Ever
In addition, the exterior of the home is the image home buyers are likely to spend the most time viewing — both in terms of duration and frequency. Eye tracking research done by Old Dominion University at Norfolk, Va., found that more than 95% of users looking at a real estate listing viewed the first photo (an exterior of the home) for a total of 20 seconds, and fixated on it 60 times. In addition, to make a great first impression, you have to capture their attention in 2 seconds.
